The new version of Telegram is all about privacy

One of the most popular email services on Android, Telegram, wants you to take back your privacy. The latest update of the application will allow you to delete messages sent and received at any time.
The company claims that this is part of its ongoing efforts to improve the privacy of users. After introducing end-to-end encryption in 2013, she now wants to give users full control over their conversations. This includes the ability to delete messages.

Previously, you could only do this within forty-eight hours and you could only delete the messages you had sent. Now the limit has been removed and users can "cancel" any message sent or received at any time. The messages will then be deleted from the phones of both parties. You can also delete any private chat by pressing two keys.

Other privacy enhancements include a setting that allows you to restrict the transfer of messages. When enabled, forwarded messages will no longer lead to your account - just a non-clickable username. According to Telegram, "in this way, the people you are chatting with will have no verifiable proof that you sent them anything".

In addition, Telegram has also added the search option in the ever-expanding settings menu, and has made improvements for emoji.

Finally, Telegram added support for accessibility features - TalkBack on Android and VoiceOver on iOS. You can listen to messages and use the application even if you can not see the screen.
