Gentle Monster Eyewear: Huawei unveils Bluetooth-connected glasses to replace your wireless headphones
Huawei's eyewear promises to be an alternative to wireless headphones or headphones. They must first be connected in bluetooth to a smartphone, like the Huawei P30 Pro, which we tested. They allow you to hold a phone conversation without having to slip anything in your ears. To answer a call, just press the temple of the glasses.
The glasses can also interact with a voice assistant. Unlike Google Glass, the Gentle Monster Eyewear are not equipped with a front camera, with respect for the privacy of users. The glasses are IP67 certified: they are waterproof up to 1 meter deep.
They are compatible with wireless charging, via a charging case like AirPods. The output of these glasses connected is expected in the course of July 2019. They will be proposed in optical or solar version. No prize was mentioned at the conference. What do you think of these glasses capable of replacing earpieces?
