Huawai has announced the release of the FreeLace and FreeBuds Lite, its new headphones respectively marketed at prices of 99 and 119 dollars. One can be charged directly to USB-C by the P30, while the other can benefit from the reverse charging of the smartphone.
At the Huawei P30 launch conference, the Chinese manufacturer also took the opportunity to launch new accessories, such as a 40W external battery. Among them, there are two new types of headphones: FreeLace and FreeBuds Lite. Let's see what Huawei offers us here.
The main feature of FreeLace is the fact that they can be recharged directly by connecting them to the Huawei P30's USB-C port. This allows you to use them while saving them some juice. Huawei announces up to 18 hours of continuous audio reproduction. A charge of 5 minutes is announced as sufficient to enjoy 4 hours of use. A magnetic hook allows the device to manage the connection and automatic disconnection of the headset itself. This is not a new feature, but its presence is a good point as it is practical.
The FreeBuds Lite Wireless In-Ear Headphones were then discovered, offering 12 hours of battery life and can be charged directly from the battery case. As a reminder, the P30 and P30 Pro have reverse wireless charging to charge Qi compatible devices. FreeBuds Lite are IPX4 certified and therefore water and dust resistant.
The Huawei FreeLace are marketed at a price of 99 dollars. The Freebuds Lite are sold at 119 dollars. We have not had the opportunity to test them for the moment, but you can find through this link our test Huawei P30 Pro.
