A quote that is the basis of this HBO initiative, which launches a great treasure hunt around the world just weeks before the launch of Game of Thrones season 8.
Before Game of Thrones season 8, HBO holds treasure hunt
Six replicas of the Iron Throne have been disseminated in several countries. Fans are invited to look for them, not a trivial matter as they are well hidden. After several days of investigation, two thrones could be found. One in the Puzzlewood Forest, located in northwestern England and the other in northern Sweden.
These are the "Throne of the Forest" and "Throne of the North". The latter was spotted by a certain Josefine Vallena (photo above), who explained to have analyzed maps on Google Maps and have done eight hours of road to reach it. HBO will soon post videos to help track the other four thrones.
As a reminder, the first episode of the final season will be broadcast on April 14, 2019. In France, OCS will broadcast Season 8 of Game of Thrones in VF and VO at the same time as HBO in the United States. We also have the duration of the first two episodes of season 8 of GoT: respectively 54 and 58 minutes.
