Samsung has announced an event for April 10, 2019. It will be, among other things, the presentation conference of the Galaxy A90, the new smartphone range A South Korean manufacturer. And if we already suspected that the Galaxy A90 will be equipped with a retractable camera and a borderless screen without hole or notch thanks to different leaks, we are now certain: the information was published "by mistake" by the Samsung's official website in Indonesia, before being withdrawn.
Galaxy A90: a retractable front photo sensor
Samsung is trying another setup. Popularized by the Vivo Nex, the retractable camera that will also be present on the OnePlus 7 has the advantage of allowing the conservation of a front photo sensor while providing a screen without borders or roughness. We can therefore expect a particularly impressive body-screen ratio. What to take advantage of the beautiful AMOLED screens manufactured by Samsung.
This confirms Samsung's desire to use the Galaxy A to test technologies, such as a laboratory. The brand has decided to bring features missing from its premium on some mobile yet less rated. We have already had the example with the Galaxy A9 and its quadruple photo sensor released in late 2018, with seeing four photo sensors on some models of S10.
Few details for the moment on the spec sheet of the Galaxy A90, it will have to wait for the announcement of April 10 to learn more, unless another leak by then. At least two other mid-range smartphones are expected on this date: the Galaxy A60 and Galaxy A40.
