AudioBookMaker, is a freeware program that converts any digital book into an audiobook. The application supports text files or texts that you copy or add to the program. This means that you can import Microsoft Word files (only if Office is installed on your computer) as well as HTML files. You can also create a new document and add text and paste it into your document.
In addition to controls for text playback, AudioBookMaker lets you choose a different sound and change features such as speed, tone, volume, even language and accents. The application also recognizes the audio drives installed in the operating system and lists them under the available sounds.
