As a result, PC gamers find themselves with an aging platform, not necessarily intuitive or sexy. At the beginning of 2019, Steam indicated that it wanted to change its design this year, we now have a first glimpse of the overhaul of the library through visuals shared by PC Gamer.
Steam: the refurbished games library
Font, colors, buttons, organization of the page, the library tab is completely transformed. We find the list of games on the left, with the possibility of arranging them by section. The activity of the contacts is integrated at the top right. The page of each game has also been reworked, with the beautiful part reserved for current streams on the title in addition to news. The information showing the playing time, the last time played and the successes are displayed completely differently.
Much less austere, the interface is gaining color (especially blue) and images, everything is much more digestible and pleasing to the eye.
