If you are a Google Chrome browser user, it is certain that you have a few installed plugins that allow you to add additional features to your browser. These plugins are nothing more than just small applications or parts of programs that give Chrome certain features and functions, and that does not mean they can be dangerous if you do not control exactly what you do. In this sense, we'll show you how to detect if any of your Chrome extensions steal your personal data.
After installing some extensions, we may suspect or realize that our personal data is leaking. To find out, we'll need to use an extension developed to verify which extensions we've already installed have access to confidential data and may compromise our network security.
The addendum is called "Police", whose name suggests that it acts as a police officer between all extensions installed in our Chrome browser, to show us the least reliable additions or which endanger our data. To do this, all we have to do is install it in our browser, then click on its icon next to the address bar, and a window will automatically display with a list of all installed extensions in Chrome.
From there, we will activate or deactivate those that we want, even if we prefer them all at once, we will also see a circle of several colors. If the color is green, it means that the addition is trustworthy. Police classify Orange as potentially dangerous, red in danger of those with high risk, and finally in a red triangle and Danger, the most dangerous stretch of all.

From the list itself, as well as the ability to deactivate dangerous extensions, by clicking on each of them, we can see the permissions we've granted them and which may endanger our data.
