Cyber security experts found a new loophole in iOS that allows anyone to send SMS messages and make calls from any phone without having to unlock the phone.
This gap is in the possibility that surfers can use the Siri voice helper to bypass phone lock, make calls and send messages without any prior experience.
Cyber experts have discovered that Siri is listening to orders even if the phone is locked, allowing anyone to give them some commands, including making a phone call or sending SMS messages.
The experts added that anyone can access your phone to order Siri to call the last number dialed on the phone, or send an SMS to anyone registered on the contact in the phone.
The trick is that the spam is similar to the voice of the iPhone user until it is successfully executed. This vulnerability has been detected on iOS 11, and it is not yet clear whether Apple has fixed the bugs in iOS 12.
