The end of an era. Emtek Group announced the closure of the BlackBerry Messenger service for May 31, 2019. From this date, users will no longer be able to access it. As a reminder, BBM is not only available on smartphones brand: BlackBerry Messenger had landed on the Play Store for Android devices in late 2013.

But the platform was less and less used. Firstly because BlackBerry smartphones have almost disappeared. Some models come out every year but they sell very little.
