TomTom Go Premium: through iFFTT, GPS allows you to control your connected home

TomTom launches a new smart GPS called Go Premium. It has many connected features that make life easier for the driver. This news coincides with the launch of a new GPS called TomTom Go Premium, the most intelligent GPS boxes of the brand.

With IFTTT, the user can link the GPS to different home appliances and connected objects of the house. It is equipped with a SIM card that allows it to be constantly connected to the Internet. TomTom talks about some features like the automatic opening of the garage when the user arrives at home. The GPS also interacts with the voice assistants Alexa and Siri.

For example, you can activate your iRobot vacuum as soon as you leave the garage, turn on the heat as soon as the vehicle leaves work, and head home. In pedestrian mode, the TomTom MyDrive app takes over to guide the user to his final point of arrival. And in case you forget where the vehicle is parked, she will guide you there. Finally, TomTomGo automatically updates via built-in WiFi.

The GPS is only available in US 5 and 6 inch versions sold respectively 329.95 and $379.95 . To celebrate its 100 million products sold, TomTom also offers a limited edition Gold called TomTom Go Premium X.
