Google Maps v10.14 is now available in beta. This update brings some novelties to the menu interface dedicated for example to restaurants and bars nearby. To enjoy it now, we invite you to download the APK of the Android application.
Google Maps receives a new beta update, report our fellow Android Police. This new version allows to take advantage of the new features of the application before its deployment on the Google Play Store. On the other hand, it risks to have some bugs and slowness, beta obliges.

In the current stable version, the "Explore the Surroundings" tab has only 4 icons: Restaurants, Bars, Attractions and More. To make your navigation easier, Google has decided to set up a handful of other sections, such as Hotels, Events, Parks and Cafes.
These shortcuts are deployed by an update on the side of Google's servers. All users, even those who install the latest version, may not enjoy it. To access it as soon as possible, we invite you to keep your Google Maps application up-to-date. For that, you can join the beta program set up by Google. Once done, you will shortly receive an update directly on your smartphone.
