Downloading episodes of Season 8 of Game of Thrones illegally will be at your own risk, says a report from the Kaspersky Labs security company. We learn from the study that Game of Thrones alone accounted for 17% of pirated content infected in 2018 (based on the 31 popular series studied). An incredibly high rate when it was the only production without a new episode last year (Season 7 goes back to 2017). According to Kaspersky Labs, each time the first and last episodes of a season are the most likely to host malware.
