Windows Defender ATP changes name and disembarks on Mac
This version of Windows Defender ATP for mac (forcibly renamed Microsoft Defender ATP) has the same functionality as its Windows counterpart, and automatically updates itself again on Windows. It is compatible with MacOS Mojave, High Sierra and Sierra. Microsoft Defender ATP is integrated into the Microsoft Defender ATP portal that allows you to manage the same rights in a whole fleet of machines composed of PCs and Macs. And this is probably one of the main interests of this solution, whereas it is now common to find mixed work environments, composed of Windows PCs and Macs.
Of course, some questions are burning our lips: is this a prelude to the arrival of a public declination of Windows Defender on mac? Will Microsoft eventually offer Microsoft Defender ATP on Linux?
