In our blog we have addressed a set of topics that enable you to know the devices and how to install them for the mining of these electronic currencies. Of course, mining requires high-quality equipment in order to obtain satisfactory results. A majority of the graphics cards are used for this process, but what if you use smart phones?
Many of us keep old phones to use in an emergency, but the vast majority may not use these devices again in their lives and are only likely to forget about the inclusion of offices and ultimately become worthless.
Samsung has launched a new initiative called Upcycling, which aims to turn old smartphones into something new. Among the projects that exploit the old smart phones in the framework of this initiative is a device for mining Bitcoin, a device made of 40 phones of the old Galaxy S5.

This device and other projects framed in this initiative by Samsung, were presented at a recent developer conference in San Francisco. Through this initiative, Samsung is encouraging users to think about recycling their old machines and turning them into devices that do new jobs rather than break them and throw them into garbage.
