
Where a set of programs installed on your computer consume a significant proportion of the Internet throughput that is available. This, of course, may make you use a small percentage of Internet throughput when browsing and downloading files from the Internet. There is also a set of programs installed by default in Windows 10 Others consume significant percentages of Internet throughput, and to prevent this from happening, go to the system firewall as in the picture

Then click on the Outbound Rules option as in the picture

Then, create a new list

In the next step, choose Program as in the picture

Now in the field indicated, set the program path you want to prevent from connecting to the Internet

You will then have to choose Block Connection

Finally, you'll need to make sure you mark the three options as in the picture

Thus, you will be able to prevent any program you want to consume a significant percentage of your Internet connection.
