Google will expand the prevention and blocking of spam across the world in July

As a member of the "Good Ads" coalition, Google has begun blocking ad types that have been defined as web site spam since the end of last year across North America and Europe. Before doing so, Google reported affected webmasters that they had 30 days to correct Defects detected and adjusting the advertising experience in accordance with the criteria set by the said consortium.
With this in mind, this alliance will set its standards for all countries of the world. Google Chrome has also joined this initiative and announced that the ban on spam will be extended to the rest of the world from 9 July.

This means that if websites anywhere in the world show certain types of ads that are defined as spam, they will be blocked by Google Chrome, using the same mechanism as prior notice to moderators to correct ad distortions on their sites.

Aggregate has identified 12 types of ads as parasitic that harm the user experience, whether they use desktop or mobile devices, including pop-up ads, and auto-play ads for videos with sound among other things.

According to Google, as of January 1 this year, two-thirds of webmasters who have not yet met the standards are now in good standing, which is followed by millions of sites reviewed, and to date less than 1% of ads have been blocked.
