Goodbye to Google Allo: Google's messaging application is about to disappear

Google announced its implementation of Google Allo in mid-2016 as an alternative to Wasp and other common messaging services, and the passage of time was very clear what seemed to be a good idea at first, but ended up failing, and users did not meet the application in line with the company's expectations.

Google Allo: Google's messaging application is about to disappear

For the same reason, the development of Google Allo has been on standby for months. Now, according to a source close to the company confirmed by the mediator 9to5Google , Google Allo will sooner or later disappear and thus allow Google to develop another IM application.
In January of this year, the news we received about the future of Google Allo was not entirely hopeful. The company lost the lead in the development of Google Allo and Google Duo, leaving the projects powerless and without a well-defined cycle. Later, we saw how frequently updates and access to new features came into the app, and how users complained about the problems with the application with these updates.
It seems that the whole team responsible for developing Google Allo has abandoned the project and has moved to focus its efforts on applying native messages to Android, although Google has not yet confirmed a specific date for the death of Google Allo.
