After nearly eight years of its inception, Google officially closed its social network on Google +.  Officially: The death of Google + This is what will happen to your data after now

For some time, it was known that Google will close the service on April 2, and the time has already come, as the company officially closed this social network. If you try to reach plus.google.com, you will no longer have access to the known social network, but you'll get a statement from Google explaining what happened on the page and the content on which it was hosted.

Google says in its statement that closing Google + does not affect other company products, such as Gmail, Google Photos, Google Drive or YouTube. In addition, it also indicates that users will retain the Google Account they use to sign in to these services and that photos and videos backed up will not be deleted in Google Photos.
In the same way, Google also shows that users can still download their content from the platform. Google ensures that Google + personal content and Google + pages begin to be deleted, and that this process will take a few months, so content may be available until then.
For those who use Google + with their G Suite account, the company explains that it will still be a tool for people to talk to. Remember that if you do not want to lose all the content of Google +, then you are still in time to download your arithmetic data before the complete removal process is complete.
