The Huawei Mate X has appeared on the Huawei Chinese online store, report our fellow MyDrivers. As announced at the MWC in Barcelona, the foldable smartphone will be marketed at a price of $ 2,299, more than $ 200 more expensive than Samsung's Galaxy Fold, its only rival. At the conference, the manufacturer was however silent on the release date of his flagship.
Huawei unintentionally reveals the release date of Mate X on its website
As can be read on Huawei's Chinese site, Mate X will be released on the market in June 2019. For the moment, it is not known if the terminal will be launched in China before being marketed on other continents or if Huawei has planned a simultaneous global release. The brand should tell us more in the coming weeks.
In the process, the leak confirms most of the key elements of the smartphone card. There is a SoC Kirin 980, a modem 5G Balong 5000, EMUI 9.1 and 8GB of RAM. The Mate X is sold with a 55W wireless charger, which can recover 85% of battery in 30 minutes of charge.
