Microsoft releases Notepad update for the first time in 20 years


Microsoft has come back with an amazing amount of new features in the new Notepad update. Although the software giant has not updated Notepad for years, the next update to Windows 10 will include some very needed additions, Development, or records, or simple processing of text

You'll soon be able to wrap around searching and replacing, along with the ability to zoom in on text by holding down the ctrl key and using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. Microsoft also adds extensible end-of-line support so that Unicode / Linux line ends (LFs) and Macintosh endpoints (CR) are supported in Notepad.

Microsoft also supports ctrl + backspace to delete a previous word in Notepad, and performance improvements for large files. You can now search for words on Bing via Notepad as soon as you right-click them to get a new option.
