Google protects its employees data from hacking through USB key

You can imagine a lot of hackers who would be very happy if they managed to fool Google employees to steal their evidence, right? Because the company knows this too, so they are always investing heavily in the security of their information. One of the coolest measures is not in the software, but in the "physical keys" that are used as binary authentication there.

Google began using USB keys in 2017. Since then, it has made sure not to steal any of its 85,000 employees or hack their accounts. This key works instead of cell phones and other binary authentication methods, which is required to authenticate access after entering your Google Account password.

Of course, this key is available to buy publicly and is recommended by Google in order to protect your account that is also accessible from other parties. According to Business Insider UK, a representative of Google has confirmed that the company has not reported any breakthroughs to its employees since the implementation of this step.
