Classic Winamp, is back and available again for download

There was a time, before things like Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music, where most humans had all the MP3 music files stored on the hard drive. To hear it, we used audio players such as the very famous Winamp.

Winamp is a classic audio player, which was one of the mandatory programs to be found on any computer, and served as a companion in most of the hours we spent in front of a computer screen in the late 90s. Years ago he lost his throne against broadcast services like those mentioned before, and despite the release of special versions (such as Winamp that you can run directly in your web browser), it was not until recently that Winamp appeared to have returned to life.

The Winamp 5.8 trial was leaked recently, which is why developers decided to publish it on their official website. This version of Winamp is free and compatible with Windows 10 and although it does not work 100% completely, it has solved many of the errors that I meant before.

Downloading this version of Winamp is like making a trip to the past. A waterfall of technological nostalgia. Back to the age where social networks did not exist, where the most fortunate of us had an ADSL connection and eMule used to download content from the Internet.

Of course, keep in mind that when you warn them on the same Winamp page, developers do not intend to continue working on this version 5.8. In fact, its goal is to create a new Winamp program from scratch and may only focus on mobile devices.

If you are a user of this legendary program, you may need to download Winamp 5.8 and remember your old days.
