Last September, Microsoft commented on its intention to integrate a more useful feature called Background Blur, a feature that disrupts the background during video calls, thereby improving our privacy. As explained by Skype, Background Blur is able to detect and keep human shapes visible throughout the video call and apply a real-time masking filter to the background regardless of whether we move or not and the result is very good.
One of the advantages of this new feature is ease of use, where we can activate it with a single click. In fact it is possible to activate or deactivate this function during the same video call, although we can also choose to activate it or not from the Skype Settings section as the picture
