Mobile phones use electromagnetic radiation in the microwave or microwave range, and other digital wireless systems, such as data and communications networks, produce similar beams. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies cellular radiation based on the IARC scale into category 2b (may cause cancer). This means that it may contain a risk of cancer.
Various regulators have set "safe" limits for SAR measurements. For example, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) limits radio frequency exposure to 1.60 W / kg. In Europe the limit is slightly higher, and sets at 2.00 W / kg. These numbers are the amount of radiation absorbed by the body which is not different depending on the parts of the affected body.
